What is It With Our Celebrities and Their Socialism Motif?

Most of my acquaintances agree that the tabloids, magazines, TV shows, videos, and articles on celebrities hold little if any intellectual value, it’s all just entertainment, well, if that’s what floats your cruise ship, or not. Okay so, the other day I was discussing this with a fellow intellectual thinker, and he said it’s getting to be too much, and that all this nonsense was just making people stupid; “turning them into mental zombies” I guess was his comment. Indeed, so let’s talk about this for a moment shall we?

There is a rather worthless show (intellectually that is – my opinion) that is on the TV in America, it is a talk show run by a famous celebrity, Jerry Springer. He was once asked if he thought he was causing a degradation society, and he replied that he was only giving people what they wanted. If they didn’t want it, then don’t watch the TV, or his program. Obviously 10s of millions of people tune in, and therefore he is able to garner huge corporate sponsors for commercials, and make a ton of money feeding the fishes what they want.

My question is why do they want this in the first place? Are their minds so shallow, and their ignorance so bliss that this is what they aspire to? If it is we have a problem in society, with education, and even in the family structure, so we shouldn’t blame the Celebrities for exploiting it. Or should we? I know the tendency to do that is quite high, I even have that tendency myself to condemn the Celebrities.

However, at times I feel as if I should condemn them for the message they deliver such as socialism, and some of the causes that they promote. The fact that they are shallow and petty doesn’t seem to bother me much, because I don’t bother watching that crap, and really aren’t most humans shallow and petty when it comes right down to it anyway? About the worst thing you can call someone is a; human.

And as far as I’m concerned the word ‘humanity’ is nothing more than an oxymoron.

Should we blame our Celebrities, or should we blame ourselves? I say everyone should look in the mirror, and perhaps after they do that allow them to make the choice to watch, or turn it off. The other day, someone was complaining to me about Walmart. That’s ridiculous, if you don’t want to go to Walmart, then don’t, no one’s holding a gun to your head.

Likewise, people who work at Walmart are doing so because they would like to get a job, if they didn’t feel the pay was fair, or they were not getting a fair shake, they don’t have to work there at all. No one is forcing them. See that point?

Lastly, if Celebrities really love socialism so fabiosa.com much, and some of them are closet communists, then perhaps they’d be willing to drop their wages and enormous pay, and work for the average working man wage at one of the union factories in the US.
Please consider all this.
